He explained the problem and its cause and explained the pros and cons of various systems. We felt very confident in his solution, but he suggested that we contact a structural engineer to give us peace of mind. When my husband accepted a transfer to the Seattle area we were unprepared to sell our house. Our house is on a hillside and there was major foundational work that needed to be done quickly and correctly.
My first estimate from 'Other Company' appeared at first to be a more cost effective solution. The salesman explained their process of piering two sides of the house and bracing the corner without giving an exact number of piers needed. He also told us there may be some additional expenses in putting our deck back on and made no mention of how it would affect the yard. 'Other Company’s' warranty was limited to only one transfer and/or 10 years.

We’ve had many enjoyable years in our home and I wanted to sell it knowing it was done well.
